ESTEC ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF NEW DIRECTOR

Pending Exchange approval, ESTec SYSTEMS CORP. (ESE on the TSX Venture Exchange) today announces the appointment of Barbara E. Fraser to its Board of Directors. Ms. Fraser will also be a member of the company's Audit Committee.

Ms. Fraser has an extensive background in public markets with over 26 years in the securities industry. She currently operates a private consulting company that assists corporations with the complex process of securing their public company listing. She also holds a certificate in Arbitration and has completed Mediation and Negotiation training in addition to a comprehensive list of securities courses. Ms. Fraser is presently a Director and Audit Committee Member of Seair Inc. (SDS - TSX-V).
